Admission & Scheduling

Services of the Center are available to anyone who seeks them. Interested persons should contact the Clinic Office at (337) 482-6490 or at speech@louisiana.edu for further information or to schedule services. Because we are a teaching institution, clients are scheduled on the basis of time slots, academic curriculum, student-clinician to clinician-educator ratio, and student experience.

Scheduling

Scheduling of diagnostics are typically but not always on Fridays and may require 2-3 appointment dates to complete the process. Treatment sessions are typically scheduled for two days/week, either on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, for 50 minutes each session.

Special groups meet several times a week during semester sessions.

Availability of services may vary depending on the number of clients currently enrolled, relevant coursework completed by the student clinicians and time preference of the clients. For more information, contact the Clinic Office.
