Scholarship Application Deadline

Applications for Scholarships Specific to the CODI Department are due Monday April 27, 2015 by 12:00 Noon

Descriptions of Scholarships and links to applications can be found under the Financial Support tab.

Students should also be aware that they may qualify for scholarships given through their College. Refer to the College of Liberal Arts or Graduate School Websites for more Information.

Welcome to the
Department of Communicative Disorders

The program in Communicative Disorders offers three separate degrees.

BA in Speech Pathology & Audiology : a pre-professional degree that is designed to prepare students for entry to graduate programs in speech language pathology or audiology.

MS in Speech Language Pathology: entry level degree for those individuals interested in a clinical career as a speech-language pathologist in various settings such as schools, hospitals and private clinics. The MS education program in speech-language pathology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard #310, Rockville, Maryland 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700.

Ph.D. in Applied Language and Speech Sciences: tailored for individuals that seek a career in research and/or higher education.
