Anne Williams, adjunct clinical supervisor In the Department of Communicative Disorders was recently recognized by the American Board of Fluency and Fluency Disorders as a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with fluency disorders.  Fluency disorders include stuttering, cluttering and overall disruption in the smooth flow of speech. Board Certified Specialists are individuals who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) awarded by the American speech Language Hearing Association and have demonstrated a high level of knowledge and clinical expertise in fluency disorders through coursework, a national exam and clinical apprenticeship.  For more information about the American Board of Fluency and Fluency Disorders, visit www.stutteringspecialists.org.
