These professionals represented over 100 difference countries around the world. Dr. Cannito described the opening ceremonies as the "most moving and uplifting" event of the conference as professionals from various countries came together to be educated in the same field of study. In addition to serving as a delegate to the General Assembly, Dr. Cannito presented his research on behavioral outcome measures for speech and voice rehabilitation for Parkinson's disease.
